Biography
Erika Nissen delighted concert halls with refined interpretations and championed both classical masterworks and new compositions from Norwegian composers. Her pianism combined grace with powerful control, earning admiration across the country and abroad.
She later nurtured a circle of pupils and friends, sharing her fierce love of music and the poetry it could awaken, and her memory rests peacefully at Vår Frelsers gravlund.
