Biography
Born in 1918, Ermal Allen spent his childhood learning the value of perseverance and neighborly kindness in a small community that weathered the Great Depression together; he spent a career as a skilled carpenter and devoted father, building homes and mentoring young people along the way.
Those who knew him recall a warm laugh, a steady hand when troubles arose, and a talent for hosting gatherings where everyone felt welcome; he passed in 1988 and now rests at Battle Grove Cemetery, cherished by family and friends.
