Ernest Duvillard
1859–1918 (age 59)
Biography
Ernest Duvillard brought a refined sense of proportion to the commissions that oversaw public buildings around Tannay, designing villas and civic structures that referenced historical forms while remaining thoroughly comfortable for modern life.
He was also attentive to craft, working closely with local artisans so that woodwork, stone carving, and glass echoed the dignity of the overall plan and preserved the village's quiet character.
