Ernst Alexanderson (1878–1975) was a pioneering engineer whose innovations in radio and early television helped shape modern broadcasting. His technical skill and imaginative designs guided some of the first long-distance transmissions, leaving a lasting mark on communication around the globe.

He was renowned for mentoring engineers and sharing his passion for progress, a legacy fondly recalled at Vale Cemetery and Vale Park where he is laid to rest.
