Ernst Heinrich Pfeilschmidt (1809–1894) was a German writer whose literary contributions enriched the cultural landscape of 19th-century Germany. Throughout his long career spanning several decades, he established himself as a respected voice in German letters, engaging with the intellectual currents of his era.

Pfeilschmidt's work reflected the literary sensibilities of the 19th century, and he remained active in his craft until his death at the age of 85. He was laid to rest at the Alter Annenfriedhof in Dresden, a final resting place befitting his cultural significance in the region.
