Biography
Étienne Lancereaux was a respected French physician whose medical career extended throughout much of the nineteenth century. He contributed significantly to the advancement of medical knowledge and practice in France during a period of great scientific progress.
Lancereaux is remembered for his professional accomplishments and his role in the medical community. He was interred at Montmartre Cemetery in Paris, a final resting place befitting his standing in French society.
