Biography
Eugène Bidau was a French painter who contributed to the artistic movements of the nineteenth century. His work reflected the evolving aesthetic sensibilities of his era, and he maintained an active presence in Paris's artistic community throughout his career.
Bidau's artistic practice spanned the latter half of the nineteenth century, culminating in his death in 1899. He was buried in Montmartre Cemetery, the final resting place of many of Paris's most celebrated artists and cultural figures.
