Eugénie Pauline Collin

Biography

Eugénie Pauline Collin (1827–1900) was a French housewife whose life reflected the domestic and family-centered roles common to women of her era. Born in the early 19th century, she witnessed and lived through the profound social changes that characterized Victorian and Belle Époque France.

Collin's life was devoted to her household and family, as was customary for women of her social station during this period. She was laid to rest in the Cimetière de Saint-Prix, where her memory is preserved among the generations of her community.
