Évelyne Rey
1930–1966 (age 36)
Biography
Évelyne Rey trained as an actor in the vibrant theatre schools of postwar Paris, and her youthful presence quickly found its way onto both intimate stages and the emerging world of television drama.
Her natural empathy and expressive depth allowed her to bring flesh-and-blood humanity to every role, and she is remembered with tenderness at Montparnasse Cemetery, where friends reflect on the performances she shared before her life ended too soon.
