Biography
Evtim Sprostranov, born in 1868, lent his voice to Bulgarian letters, crafting essays and stories that explored national identity and the lives of ordinary people.
He championed literary gatherings and nurtured younger writers, and when he passed in 1931 the Central Sofia Cemetery became the place where readers could pay tribute to his work.
