Biography
F. W. Fitch was born in 1870 and lived through one of the most dynamic periods in American history. Over his eighty-one years, Fitch witnessed tremendous technological, social, and cultural change while maintaining his ties to his local community and the Highland Memory Gardens area.
Fitch's life was marked by his presence and participation in his community. He was laid to rest at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery in 1951, where his memory continues to be honored and cherished by those who knew him and his family.
