Fanni Schulhof

Biography

Fanni Schulhof was a woman of the Brno Jewish community who lived through much of the 19th century and into the early 20th. She was part of a generation of women who maintained household and family traditions that were central to Jewish life.

Her memory is preserved in the Jewish cemetery of Brno, a sacred space that honors the contributions of all community members. Schulhof's life spanned nearly seven decades of Central European Jewish history.
