Biography
Fanny Hipkins Bernard lived a brief but meaningful life during the early years of the American republic. Born in 1775, she came of age during a time of great change and possibility in the young nation.
Though her life was cut short at twenty-six, Bernard left an imprint on those who knew her. She was laid to rest at Emmanuel Episcopal Church Cemetery, where her memory is honored among her community of faith.
