Faustyna Morzycka

Biography

Faustyna Morzycka (1864–1910) was a Polish revolutionary whose commitment to social and political change exemplified the spirit of resistance during the partition period. Her activism reflected the growing movements for Polish independence and social reform that characterized the late 19th century.

Morzycka's life and work represented the dedication of Polish women to the cause of national liberation and social progress. She was laid to rest in Rakowicki Cemetery in Kraków, honored as a figure who had devoted herself to the struggle for a free Poland and a more just society.
