Ferdinand Šamonil

Biography

Ferdinand Šamonil (1872–1919) trained as an architect and contributed to the refinement of the urban fabric in and around Brno, favoring careful detail and harmonious proportions that reflected the city’s growing aspirations.

After his passing he was laid to rest at Malvazinky Cemetery, where visitors recall how his designs blended respect for tradition with an eye toward the future.
