Biography

Fidelia Marshall came of age in the early decades of the nineteenth century, and when she passed in 1840 her loved ones laid her to rest at Green-Wood Cemetery. She was cherished for the quiet strength she brought to the people around her and the kindness she offered during times of both joy and sorrow.

Her resting place beneath the park-like canopy of Green-Wood invites visitors to remember the compassion she shared with family and friends during her forty years among them.
