Biography

Fortuné Delsaux was a French resident of Lyon who lived during a transformative period in European history. Born in 1915, he witnessed the rise and fall of Nazi occupation during the Second World War.

Delsaux's life was cut short in 1946, and he was laid to rest in Lyon's La Doua French National Cemetery, a solemn memorial to those who lived through the conflict. His grave stands among many others who contributed to France's complex wartime experience.
