Frances Adeline "Fanny" Seward

Biography

Frances Adeline "Fanny" Seward was born in 1844 and represented the promise of youth during the mid-nineteenth century. Her life, though brief, was lived during a pivotal time in American history as the nation approached and entered the Civil War.

Fanny passed away in 1866 at the young age of twenty-two and was interred at Fort Hill Cemetery. Her memory endures as a testament to the many young lives affected by the turbulent era in which she lived.
