Biography

Francis Adam of Waldstein-Wartenberg (1759–1823) was a military officer who served during one of Europe's most transformative periods. Born in the final decades of the 18th century, he witnessed and participated in the military campaigns that defined the Napoleonic era and the subsequent reorganization of Central European states.

As a member of the Waldstein-Wartenberg family, Francis Adam maintained connections to the Bohemian nobility. He was interred in the Chapel of Waldstein in Litvínov, a burial site associated with his family's estates and historical significance in the region.
