Biography

Francis F. Patterson, Jr. represented New Jersey in the U.S. House during the 1910s, advocating for small businesses, veterans, and sensible regulation as he balanced the state’s industrial strength with the needs of its workforce.

After leaving Congress he returned to banking and remained engaged in civic life, supporting educational institutions and charitable causes that benefited many of the same families he had served in Washington.
