Franciszek Kurowski lived through a remarkable span of nearly a century, from 1764 to 1869, witnessing the French Revolution, the Napoleonic Wars, and the subsequent reshaping of Europe. His longevity allowed him to observe profound transformations across the continent and in the societies he inhabited.
