Biography
François Bolifraud was a French resistance fighter who answered the call to defend his nation during one of its darkest hours. Born in 1917, he came of age during the rise of fascism in Europe and chose to resist occupation and tyranny.
His courageous service in the resistance was cut short when he died in 1942, sacrificing his life for the cause of freedom. He is remembered with honor at cimetière de Chamarande as a patriot and hero.
