Biography
Frank H. Woody was among Missoula’s earliest civic leaders, helping guide the community through its transition from a rough frontier settlement into an organized town. A lawyer by trade, he served in multiple public offices, including as mayor and as a member of the territorial legislature, always with a steady hand and a devotion to public service.
He left a legacy of civic institutions and thoughtful governance that helped shape Missoula’s character and ensured a more secure future for its citizens.
