Biography

František Karel Bakule was born in 1861 and established himself as a writer, contributing to Czech literature during a period of national awakening and cultural development. His literary work reflected the intellectual currents of late nineteenth and early twentieth-century Prague.

Bakule passed away in 1941 during the Nazi occupation of Czechoslovakia, having devoted much of his life to the written word and cultural expression. He was laid to rest in Vinohrady Cemetery, honored as a contributor to Czech literary heritage.
