František Koudelka

Biography

František Koudelka was a young Czech whose life was shaped by the extraordinary events of the early 20th century. He lived through a period of national awakening and international conflict that profoundly affected Czech society.

Koudelka's death in 1918 coincided with the final year of World War I and the emergence of the Czechoslovak state. He represents a generation of young Czechs whose lives were altered by historical forces beyond their control. He was buried at Olšany Cemetery.
