Biography
František Kozák was a writer who contributed to Czech literature during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Born in 1857, he was active during a period of significant cultural and national development in the Czech lands, when writers played a vital role in cultural expression and national identity.
Kozák's literary work reflected the intellectual currents and concerns of his era. He lived until 1926, witnessing the transformation from Austro-Hungarian rule to the independent Czechoslovak state. He was buried in the cemetery in Čáslav, where his memory is preserved.
