František Pokorný

Biography

František Pokorný was born in 1895 and grew up during the final years of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. His formative years were marked by the cultural and political developments that would shape Central Europe in the twentieth century.

He died in 1917 during World War I and was laid to rest in Olšany Cemetery, where he is remembered among the many who experienced this pivotal era.
