František Souček

Biography

František Souček (1893–1930) was a young man whose life was cut short in the early decades of the 20th century. Though his years were few, he lived during a period of remarkable transformation in Central Europe, witnessing the birth of the Czechoslovak Republic.

Souček's memory is preserved in Vršovice Cemetery, a testament to a life lived during one of history's most pivotal moments. He remains part of the historical record of a generation that came of age during the transition from empire to independence.
