Biography

František Václav Pštross was a prominent Czech businessperson of the 19th century, whose entrepreneurial ventures contributed to the commercial development of Prague during a period of significant economic transformation. Active throughout the mid-1800s, Pštross established himself as a respected figure in business circles, leaving a legacy of commercial enterprise in his native city.

Pštross passed away in 1863 and was laid to rest at Olšany Cemetery, one of Prague's most significant burial grounds. His life reflected the ambitions and achievements of the Czech business class during the Austro-Hungarian era.
