Biography

František Vlach was born in 1883 and died in 1952, living through one of the most dramatic periods of Central European history. His life encompassed the fall of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, the creation of Czechoslovakia, and the subsequent transformations of the twentieth century.

Vlach was a member of the Litomyšl community, where he spent his life and where he is commemorated in the local cemetery. His nearly seven decades of life reflect the resilience of the Czech people during a time of profound historical change.
