Františka Lamplotová

Biography

Františka Lamplotová (1883–1952) lived through the transformation of Central Europe from the late Austro-Hungarian period through the establishment of Czechoslovakia and into the early Cold War years. Her long life spanned nearly seven decades of profound historical change.

Lamplotová's existence reflected the resilience required to navigate the twentieth century's turbulent events. She was laid to rest in the cemetery at Oplocaný, where her memory remains among her community.
