Biography

Franz Baer (1850–1891) was a talented architect who contributed to the built environment of 19th-century Baden-Württemberg. During his relatively brief career, he designed and oversaw construction projects that reflected the architectural sensibilities and practical needs of his era.

Though his life was cut short at age 41, Baer's architectural legacy remained in the structures he created. He was buried at Hauptfriedhof Freiburg, a principal cemetery serving the region's notable citizens and professionals.
