Franziska Bauer

Biography

Franziska Bauer was born in 1796, a woman of the late eighteenth century who lived through the Napoleonic era and the early decades of the nineteenth century. She maintained her residence and social connections in Paris, becoming part of the city's diverse cultural fabric during a period of significant change.

She lived to the age of sixty-two, dying in 1858 during the height of the Second Empire. Her burial in Père Lachaise Cemetery places her among the notable residents of Paris, a final resting place that honored her place in the city's history.
