Frédéric Amouretti

Biography

Frédéric Amouretti (1863–1903) was a French poet whose brief but meaningful career contributed to the literary arts of the Belle Époque. Despite his early death at age 40, his poetic voice resonated with the artistic sensibilities of his generation.

Amouretti's work exemplified the lyrical traditions of late 19th-century French poetry. He was laid to rest in Cannes (Grand Jas) Cemetery, where his memory is preserved among other distinguished cultural figures.
