Frédéric Charpin

Biography

Frédéric Charpin, born in 1883, pursued journalism with an earnest desire to illuminate the experiences of ordinary people, even as the world descended into conflict.

He was killed in 1914 and laid to rest at Courbesseaux National Cemetery, where his reporting spirit is remembered alongside those who gave their lives in the war’s early days.
