Biography

Frederick George Jackson led the British Arctic expedition of 1894–97 and later shared his experiences through lectures and writings that opened the frozen north to the British imagination.

He continued to serve his country as an officer and mentor in the military, nurturing a spirit of exploration and discipline cherished by many in Berkshire.
