Frederick H. Rindge, born in 1857, devoted his talents to shaping the growing fabric of Los Angeles as a developer of enduring neighborhoods and civic amenities. He managed the family holdings with a sense of stewardship, ensuring that streets, parks, and residences were laid out with thoughtful care so that the city might grow with grace.
