Biography

Born in 1845, Frederick Henry Wales answered the call during the Civil War and later brought that steady sense of duty to his adopted city of Los Angeles, offering counsel and friendship as the region grew around him.

In the decades that followed he quietly guided neighbors through change, shared in civic efforts, and now rests with honor beside fellow veterans at Los Angeles National Cemetery.
