Biography

Frederick Hermann Bowring built a reputation as a barrister of keen intellect and measured counsel, offering clear-headed advice that inspired trust across the courtroom and in civic circles.

He championed fairness and mentorship throughout his long career, and after his death in 1917 his colleagues remembered him fondly as he was laid to rest in St Bartholomew's Cemetery.
