Friedrich Köhne

Biography

Friedrich Köhne was born in 1757 and became a respected member of the Philadelphia community during the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. He lived through a transformative period in American history, witnessing the founding of the nation and its early development.

Köhne passed away in 1829 at the age of seventy-two and was laid to rest at Christ Church Burial Ground, one of Philadelphia's most historic cemeteries. His final resting place reflects his connection to the city's established community and its religious institutions.
