Biography

Born in 1828, Gabriel Bouck devoted himself to the law and to the people of Wisconsin; after establishing his legal practice, he represented his state in the United States Congress, bringing a calm and attentive voice to national debates.

Even after leaving Washington, he remained engaged in civic life, counseling younger lawyers and encouraging public service, leaving a legacy of integrity at Riverside Cemetery where he rests with his family.
