Biography

Gardiner Spring, born in 1785, served for decades as the beloved pastor of the Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City, guiding generations with sermons noted for their clarity, earnestness, and deep scriptural grounding.

He authored numerous devotional works, mentored young ministers, and remained a steady moral compass for the city even as it underwent rapid change, and he now rests at The Evergreens Cemetery.
