Biography

Garrett Droppers championed liberal arts education as president of Williams College, inspiring students and faculty through his scholarship and belief in global understanding.

Later diplomatic service in Greece and Montenegro reflected the same curiosity about the world, leaving behind students and international partners who visit Williams College Cemetery with gratitude.
