Garrould Oldrin was a farmer whose life was rooted in agricultural pursuits during the nineteenth century. Born in 1799, he spent his years engaged in the essential work of farming, contributing to the rural economy and community life of his region.

Oldrin's long life of eighty-four years reflected the enduring connection between agricultural workers and the land they cultivated. He passed away in 1883 and was buried in Rushmere (St. Michael) Churchyard, his final resting place a testament to his deep ties to his local community.
