Biography

Geoffrey George Gore-Browne was a young naval officer who served with distinction during the early years of the First World War. His service to the Royal Navy was cut short when he perished in 1914 at the age of fifteen, a testament to the tragic toll the war took on Britain's youth.

Though his life was brief, Gore-Browne's name is preserved with honor on the Chatham Naval Memorial, a monument to the sacrifice of those who gave their lives in service to the nation at sea.
