Biography
Geoffroy Petit was a pioneering French test pilot whose courage and technical skill advanced aviation during the early twentieth century. As a test pilot, he played a vital role in the development and refinement of aircraft technology during aviation's formative years.
Petit's contributions to aviation represented the daring spirit of early aeronautical pioneers. Though his life was brief, his work in testing and evaluating aircraft designs helped advance the field of aviation. He was buried in Versailles.
