George A. Castleman’s life touched the lives of many who shared the shores of Chippiannock, as he cultivated relationships grounded in kindness and perseverance. He remained a steady friend and neighbor until his death in 1896, and the restful grounds of Chippiannock Cemetery now keep watch over his memory, a gentle reminder of the lasting warmth he offered.
