Biography

George Belden Crane was a steadfast citizen whose long life spanned much of the nineteenth century, and he was admired for the integrity with which he met the demands of family and community. His quiet devotion to whatever tasks lay before him earned the respect of neighbors and kin alike.

He concluded his days in 1898, and his memory endures at St. Helena Cemetery, where the echoes of a lifetime of dependable service remain with those who knew him.
