Captain George Duff, a naval officer of great courage, fell aboard his ship while leading the HMS Culloden into the Battle of Trafalgar, and his sacrifice is commemorated in St. Paul’s Cathedral as a testament to selfless service.

He is remembered not only for his skill at sea but also for the steady leadership he provided to his crew during the demanding campaigns of the age.
