George Eaton Sutherland

Biography

George Eaton Sutherland was born in 1843 and came of age during a nation’s trials; his life reflected a commitment to civic virtue and the betterment of his community. Whether through local initiatives, friendly counsel, or support for the young, he consistently lifted others and encouraged shared responsibility.

After his death in 1899 he was laid to rest at Forest Home Cemetery, where he is remembered for the kindness and thoughtfulness that shaped his time on earth.
